Here are the reading challenges I will attempt in 2021. As before, most of these reflect reading goals I have and a way to catch up on some things. I am not doing any terribly new challenges this year, and I am trying to keep it easy given I do not expect 2021 to be that much better than 2020. The audiobook challenge and the new (to me) manga challenge are two that I am doing for the fun of it not tied to any specific reading goal.
Repeat/Doing Again Challenges:

Initial Goal: Pike's Peak = 12 books read and reviewed.
Progress: 12 read, 12 reviewed.
Update note (12/6/2021): Completed. See post for details. Last review is scheduled to post later in December.
Initial Goal: 12 books read and reviewed.
Progress: 40 read, 39 reviewed.
Update note (6/6/2021): With The Mueller Report Illustrated,
I complete the initial commitment and thus the challenge. However, I
will keep adding books as I read them over the year that qualify. Let's
see how many more I can get.
Initial Goal: Weekend Warrior = 5 to 10 audiobooks.
Progress: 5 read, 5 reviewed.
Update note (8/20/2021): With 5 books read and reviewed, I complete the low end of the challenge. I will keep adding books as I read them to see how far I can get by end of the year.
Initial Goal: Silver = 25 books.
Progress: 11 read, 11 reviewed.
Update note (12/6/2021): I've realized I will not have this completed by end of December. There are a couple of reviews scheduled to post in December, but not enough to make it. Oh well, there is always next year. See post for details.

Manga Reading Challenge at Anime Planet
Initial Goal: 5 books read and reviewed
Progress: 0 read, 0 reviewed.
Update note (12/6/2021): This I just did not get around to doing. See the post for update details. I may or not try again this year.

Initial Goal: 6 out of 6 reading challenges completed.
Progress: 4/6 completed.
Update note: (12/6/2021): An OK year for reading challenges. To be honest, not as bad as I thought it would be. Some of it I am blaming on the pandemic, which seriously affected my reading mood. I may do reading challenges in 2022, but it may just be one or two. We'll see.
