An update to a note on Educational Admin as Weakest Program Colleges Offer.

I had this post as a draft a week ago. My guess is that, at the time, I was deciding what else to add. It has been sitting for a while, so here goes:

Last month, I pointed to an article from The Chronicle of Higher Education about Educational Administration being the weakest program colleges offer. Education Week for 5/25/05 provides a small note on two studies reporting that readings and content of courses in these programs leave their students ill-prepared to handle school reform efforts. The article, "Leadership Training Seen to Fall Short," includes a link to the reports, found at Harvard's Program of Education Policy and Governance. Look under recent books and research.
