This is a Dark Horse compilation of comics featuring the feared bounty hunter. The volume contains nine stories of varying length. Stories range from serious to some light humor here or there. The stories overall were good and entertaining.
The art is another matter entirely. Art in this volume is somewhat inconsistent in terms of quality. The comics are drawn by different artists, which provides a good art sampling. Unfortunately that sampling is just not that good. The art really fails to do justice to these stories. I like the volume overall, but I wish the art was better, a bit less cartoonish perhaps.
If you enjoy Star Wars before Disney got their hands on it, these compilations are a good value and good reading if you can find them. Like many series, quality can vary. I'd say if you are a Boba Fett fan, this is for you. For other readers, pick it up for the plots and tales.
3 out of 5 stars.
