This is a book of recipes for the keto diet plan. The recipes are designed to be prepared in the instant pot. We do have an instant pot at home, which we probably should use a bit more We also have a slow cooker that we use more often. I appreciated that many of the recipes in the book can be prepared in a slow cooker.
The book has two parts. Part one has information on the keto plan, advice on using an instant pot and/or a slow cooker, list of ingredients, and tips on preparation. Part two has recipes for breakfast, appetizers and sides, soups and stews, beef and lamb, pork, poultry, fish and seafood, sweet endings and drinks, and basic. Basics includes things like broths, homemade ricotta cheese, and a marinara sauce.
I found the book to be informative and accessible. The book features various lists and tables that are helpful. The nutritional information charts are helpful for planning. I did find some good recipes that sound appetizing and are not complicated. They feature ingredients you can find.
Overall, I really liked the book. It is better than the one I read previously, and it has recipes I would want to try out.
