This book tells the story of Lisa Kimmel's murder, and the fifteen year search for truth. All authorities knew was she was tortured and raped before being killed. Her car vanished. Meanwhile, her killer was still at large, and Lisa was not his only victim. In 15 years from back in the late 1980s, technology improved, including DNA evidence technology. Finally, Dale Wayne Eaton was identified as her killer and caught.

The book goes over the story, the investigation, and Eaton's trial. The book overall is fairly interesting. The narrative has some twists and turns including law enforcement territorial issues. However, the book seems to slow down once it gets to the trial part of the story. Overall, it was just OK.

On a trivia note, this case, often known as the Lil' Miss Murder (LIL MISS was her car's license plate) was presented in Unsolved Mysteries and later in A&E's Cold Case Files.

2 out of 5 stars.
